ALPA Efforts & Accomplishments

Improving aviation safety has always been at the core of ALPA’s reason for being – at the root of our operations and goals – since the Association was founded over 70 years ago. At its inception, ALPA’s founders came up with the motto, Schedule with Safety – a motto that continues to be as vital today as it was yesterday. Improving safety for the benefit of our members and, of course, our passengers remains at the very top of ALPA’s regulatory and legislative agenda. The structure and organization of the Association reflects the continuing commitment of the Air Line Pilots Association to listen to and champion the safety issues that concern the line pilot and the public-at-large.

The following are a few examples of ALPA's on-going efforts and accomplishments:

Security Developments since September 11, 2001
