  Jane Garvey, Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), explains why aviation is the safest form of transportation today. (speech available)
 

Carol Carmody, Vice Chairman, Acting Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), speaks of the organization's knowledge of safety needs gleaned through accident investigations. (speech available)
