Are you willing to help returning furloughees and new-hire pilots accomplish the transition from initial training to flying the line?

Sign up for the Membership Services Committee's
Mentor Program

You'll simply contact a returning or newly-hired pilot and make yourself available to answer questions on day-to-day operations, such as bidding, scheduling, CATCREW, and other items that may arise.

If you would like to get involved in ALPA work but you aren’t exactly sure what kind of work would suit you best, contact your LEC reps or the Membership Services Committee through the MEC office.

US Airwaves is a forum for the US Airways MEC, committees, and US Airways pilots. Original contributions are welcome from members in good standing. Contributions should not be libelous or in obvious poor taste. Material will be edited. Material published need not agree with ALPA Policy. Reproduction in whole or in part without permission is prohibited.

Contributions:
Sending material via CompuServe is preferred. Typed and double-spaced or otherwise legible copy will also be accepted. The act of submitting material shall constitute express warranty by the contributor that the material is original and does not infringe on the rights of others. Deadline is the fifteenth of the month.

Advertising:
Advertising may be accepted. The publisher reserves the right to reject, discontinue, or edit any advertising. See rate schedule in ad section. Accepting advertisement does not imply endorsement by ALPA or the US Airways MEC.
