In This Issue . . .Its time, as MEC Chairman Chris Beebe emphasizes in his article, to focus on the future. To increase the effectiveness of our union, he writes, we need to do some strategic planning, increase our efficiency, enhance the MEC committees, improve the perception of ALPA, and develop a safety initiative that will keep our attention on safety in the midst of distractions caused by the growth of our airline. Central Air Safety Committee Chairman John Cox also looks to the future as he expands on the safety initiative, which is called "Safety from the Ground Up." |
